Rank_Tyro's Journal: Finally installing linux on a machine....

Installed VMware on stephanies computer, and I am in the process of installing fedora core 3 on a virtual machine.

The first few times I attempted it, I was trying to install core 4 on vmware 5.The install worked, but trying to install the VMware tools was just not working.

My help desk came over for dinner sunday night and tried as well. I watched him mess around with it between cooking, chatting with the girls and drinking wine. And in the half hour he tried stuff before he figured out I was using the wrong distro I learned enough to at least refine my searches on Google.

Going to have to make dinner for him more often.....
