A poem for johndiii:

When at last I see thy bubble
My chub it swells up double.
Homeboys and whiteboys pulse through their jeans
All the world could agree and even Becky got to see.

As I wander in a haze
Oakland booty strikes me in the face

Did you ever have one of those moments when not only don't you get what a person is saying, but you don't get what they're referring to, talking about, or referencing? This is one of those times for me. I mean, it's like they're English words, and they seem to be formulated right, but can you give me a clue please? Not cutting on you, at all, I just don't have anything to start with for context on this.

There are at least two things that you might be confused about. :)

One, there's this guy johndii whose birthday it is today. See here [slashdot.org]. He has been posting several pieces of poetry in his journal for a couple months or so. So all of us who have him friended see it every day.

Two, the song "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mixalot, from the '80s.

OK, makes sense. First I didn't know out of simple ignorance. The second I didn't know because by the '80s, I was already annoyed by popular music and listening to 20 year old stuff. Thanks, oh ever so much, for making me feel old...damn kids...now get off my lawn...
