Journal cooleyb1's Journal: Winding Down 3

It's funny that when something is winding down you tend to be more wound up.
I'm at the close of a semester now, just a couple more weeks, but I am doing
more now than I was before. Isn't that something.

The good part is that I have this sense of achievment from finishing yet another
section of education and therefore another step toward a brighter future.

It will be nice when it is all complete.
But, I have already reaped fruits from this endeavor.
So it cant be all bad.
Hope everyone on the dot is doing well.

  • i find that by the time projects wind down, i have finally BEGUN to understand them, which gets me interested- just in time for the next incomprehensible project/lesson to start up.

And it's hard for me to be interested in things that i just don't get.

Don't ask me how, but somehow my intro to java (courtesy of blinder) has ended up involving vertebrate taxonomy, which fascinates me because i know something about it, as a hook to keep me going on the java, which is boring as mud because i barely understand on
    • heh, if elephants can teach you java, then i say "what ever works!"

for me it was a shopping bag. but elephants work just as well.

you rawk too you know, little dragon.
  • yay for getting edjamacated!

and yeah... as projects wind down, there is often that tie-up-the-loose-ends bit of running around.

which reminds me of an old military joke, which is so true, but may not be completely relevant. a plan is just a list of things that didn't happen.

hey, but anyway... congratulations on making it this far. you rawk. no really, you do. no matter what your brothers may say!

    hehehe
