Crusader7's Journal: Tom DeLay

I don't know a whole lot about this Tom DeLay situation, but based on the mud slinging the democrats have been doing around him for the last year or so, I doubt that he's actually done anything wrong.

The democrats seem so desperate anymore that it's sort of like watching a dying animal after it gets hit by a train. It's really a moral question should someone just put them out of their misery and disband them, or should they be given a chance to recover if they can find a way to do it?

I don't know, but I wish in their death throes they wouldn't do so much damage to America in the process. They could go down with some dignity instead of trying to drag the rest of us down with them.

It's the "Cry Wolf" syndrome. The democrats have been crying wolf for four years. Why should I believe they've suddenly found something with meat on it now? Especially when everybody is saying how thin the case is?

If it were somebody credible making the charges, I'd consider them. As it stands, this looks like another attempt to defame DeLay because nobody will listen to their whining while people like Tom are in Congress actually getting things done for the country.
