No More Trolls's Journal: Suggestions are always welcome

My foes list has a bunch of trolls on it. If anyone has suggestions for names to add or names to take off, please post a comment here. Oh and please link to examples of why it should change. Thank you.

Since you obviously cannot differentiate between troll, crapflooders, and flamebaiters. The system is fucked, and you have degraded the term 'troll' by lumping crapflooders, page wideners, and flamebaiters with trolls.

Now, I have not a fucking problem at all with your little mission, however fucking bizarre it is, but at least get the shit categorized correctly. Perhaps "no more page wideners' or some such fucking thing as that is called for.

Why is this story such a big deal??
How many of you wolf-crying 'tards have ever paid a dime for your MP3 encoders? Fraunhofer has been charging a license fee for them since the very beginning, but I don't ever remember having inserted a quarter into the coin slot on my PC when I ran LAME.
Do you honestly think you're gonna start having to pay for your copy of XMMS? Of mpg123? Do you think the copies you have now are gonna quit working in a few days?

Yeah, because a trip to google shows that xmms is timebombed to stop working at a given point in the future, and Lame requires a connection to a coin meter before it starts encoding anything.

Fraunhofer has charged a license fee for encoders, but there are still plenty of encoders available for free.

So what magic combination of words to use with google to prove how stupid Wakko was being?

Wakko's comment is certainly flamish, but it's true. It's not a troll at all. I don't think a few over-emotional yet valid comments should mark someone as a troll for life.

Your plans are obviously to let people subscribe to your foes list in order to block out known trolls; with this in mind I would hope that you remain conservative in choosing who goes on that list. Such a feature is bound to be popular, and people who are wrongly placed on the list will quite rightfully be angered at being hidden from a large percentage of the Slashdot population's eyes. Especially since being foed will hide their comments regardless of their individual posts' contents. If I were you, I'd limit your list to known, confessed trolls and crapflooders and leave questionable cases like Wakko and FortKnox off.

First, I'm honored to be included in your list. Second, Wakko is hardly a troll, though he could certainly be a great one if he so desired.

If you think he was really trolling, it's because you don't understand his post.
