Interesting poll on Creationism/Evolution

  • It isn't between creationism and evolutionism, it's between creationism and atheism. There's nothing at all in evolution that indicates the non-existance of Bigfoot, let alone God. Only a person who believes that a lack of evidence somehow "proves" a lack of existance would say different.

    For that reason, I don't mind children being taught ID, creationism, and evolution side by side- because in a very real way, the proper understanding of those three makes them completely compatible and fights against rel
    • Good points. Evolution makes sense as a theory for natural selection, but it becomes a problem when it's used as a means advocate a atheistic world view in the schools.

      I think most people are more pragmatic like you (and the poll indicates this) - that children be taught the various theories side by side and let them reason out their own belief system.
