Chacham's Journal: Chronicle: Went to C J Barrymore's, hurt ear with squirt gun

I went with my younger brother and friend to C J Barrymore's for a few hours. We enjoyed playing miniature golf and a few other silly time-wasting activities.

At one point we went on the bumper boats when noone else was there, though they were clearly made for smaller people. I was squirted with water nearly continuously, and some went in my ear.

That was Sunday. On Monday my ear was swollen. The water seems to have punctured my ear a little, it bled and then scabbed. Now i'm taking cortizone to keep it from hurting and and antibiotic just in case.

I feel like such an old man. Not just for being taken down by a squirt gun, as much as feeling the need to relate this useless story.

At work, we have been playing Lasertag

Once a month, we get together to play. The same company, Lasertron, makes the gear your place uses. It is a lot of fun, but with too many people, you cannot run around much - you are always getting hit. Of course, you don't have to run around if you don't want. And the guy that consistently gets the highest scores doesn't. Hmmmmmmm....

It's their party and they'll run if they want to.

He doesn't have a flashlight, or a camera on him, does he? :)

Well... he just has a strategic spot he goes to, and waits for people to tag. It sure works for him.

Although I'm sure he does have a camera phone, I've never seen him use it during a game. And I usually make sure he and I are on the same team. ;-)
