Journal Chacham's Journal: Obese Man Sues Fast-Food Restuarants 1
Here's an article on it. They are trying to get a class-action suit.
The bad part is, that people seem to think that they have no responsibilities. If I'm obese, it's your fault for advertising. Or it's your fault for not offering better foods. Sheesh!
You know what's even worse? That it is taken as a fact that obese is bad. Sure, it not condusive to living a longer life, but who cares? Each person gets to choose how to live.
It's unbelieveable. There are people out there who think they can tell you how to live your life. First they outlawed suicide, they force seatbelts, they also disallow drugs even when noone else is hurt, they're trying to take away your choice to smoke, and now they're after fatty foods. This lawsuit may help that cause.
Two things people need to know.
1) You can choose how to live your life. Even if it is a "bad" choice, it is your choice.
2) You must live with the consequences of your own actions.
In the US, Liberitarians will agree with both, Republicans with 2 more than 1, and Democrats with neither.
It is a sad day.
