I'm just beaming, giddy with joy!

The previous journal entry about sending me stuff - I didn't know if it would actually happen, but... Today, out of the blue, I was at work, and the UPS guy showed up with a package from Amazon. Contents: 9.5 inch SCANPAN non-stick frying pan! It's amazing! And to think, I love to cook! This will be used extensively.

I'm just... beside myself with joy. Sometimes, folks, it's the simple things in life that make it that much more enjoyable. Especially since yesterday was a fairly crappy day - my handspring died and I had to reinstall windows, and it's all rainy in blacksburg - so this is... just amazing.

HUGE thank-yous go out from both me and Tess (the first thing I did was call her and tell her about it) to the Harrisons of Colorodo: Your thank you card will be in the mail in the morning, possibly with a picture if I can swing it. And the tag - about the possibility of sending a book instead - yeah. Thanks. Wow.
