+ - Judge Stands Fast against the Revised Patriot Act->

Submitted by tsanth
tsanth (619234) writes "U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero struck down parts of the revised Patriot Act, maintaining that judicial review, checks and balances, and separation of power should be upheld in government. His decision follows one in which he said that certain provisions of the Patriot Act amount to unreasonable search and seizure in addition to being a infringement upon free speech. It's good to see that some judges are still looking out for the people."
