The problem with using the top 5% of data users is that it
is an upside down pyramid scheme. As they slow down
the top 5% our data usage becomes less and less
because we are not able to use the services that we would
normally use. Making the average become less and less.
When this all started I was getting slowed at around 10
gigs then 8 then 5.
For those that listen to Leo Laporte on TWiT, didn't he mention something similar by some big-name company? This was maybe 2 or 3 months ago. It also used Facebook as a source. Anybody remember what it was?

"The average development budget for a multiplatform next-gen game is $18-$28 million, according to new data. A study by entertainment analyst group M2 Research also puts development costs for single-platform projects at an average of $10 million. The figures themselves may not be too surprising, with high-profile games often breaking the $40 million barrier. Polyphony's Gran Turismo 5 budget is said to be hovering around the $60 million mark, while Modern Warfare 2's budget was said to be as high as $50 million."

Self Bias Resistor writes "According to a post on the Arcade-Museum forums, ASCAP is demanding an annual $800 licensing fee from at least one operator of a Guitar Hero Arcade machine, citing ASCAP licensing regulations regarding jukeboxes. An ASCAP representative allegedly told the operator that she viewed the Guitar Hero machine as a jukebox of sorts. The operator told ASCAP to contact Raw Thrills, the company that sells the arcade units. The case is ongoing and GamePolitics is currently seeking clarification of the story from ASCAP."
