Not a joke. It's just that sometimes I have seen people respond to it and it makes me wonder if it's worth spending the 5 mins to read through it.

But no, as you suggest, every time I see it I scroll past it as I cba. But that people mention hosts files in it, I can't help but wonder if there is anything interesting in it. I can't see how a hosts file could relate to propaganda.

Additionally, simply reading it would answer my question and, possibly, be quicker than asking like this. Problem is, I just really CBA :)

Now I don't know how much that bad boy costs, but I imagine they are doing OK in the cash department, though the gesture is commendable :)

Because cutting edge materials never get cheaper when a valid use is found for them and they start getting produced on industrial, economical scales.

I always find that in general people are more likely to post negative experiences than positive ones as you don't go out 'on a mission of disgust' if you are happy. It's also the marketing divisions job to paint the pretty picture.

So, with that said, I want to add to the list of very satisfied customers. I got my Hero3 Black and, despite the rather outrageous cost, could not be happier with it. So far it's been skiing (On my head, on my ski tips, on my ski pole) with me & my 4yo, it's been offroading on my RC crawler (Quite the harsh ride), it's been looking under the ice when ice fishing, it's been swimming with me & my son and I have a whole host of other activities I plan to use it for as the summer approaches.

What if your kid has grandparents in a different country and the GoPro you just bought is the only reasonable way to get footage of your 4 year old while he's learning to ski? The only thing said Grandmother really looks forward to is video of her grandchild doing cool stuff.

I don't film my kid to bore my friends senseless with crappy home videos, that's just an added side benefit :)

Oh and before you remind me to re-read your post, I don't have enough limbs to film my kid while helping him learn to ski. Whenever he is doing something active, I am always the one in there doing the activity with him. I am also the one who is prepared to film stuff, so the wide angle and worry free nature of the GoPro is perfect.
