Well, this is one thing that irritates me. patents for real stupid things that really are tehre in the first place. Tommorow somebody patents my genecode, what will i do commit suicide, but the way the patent offices are functioning the day is near.
Not only in software, you look everywhere, most of the guys up there dont have any idea about the subject. The submitter hasto wacky enough or rich enough.
People have patented ways of cleaning animals, something our ancestors used to do even when they roamed nude.
Soon somebody will patent email as "Transmission of data in pre determined sequence adhering to blah blah blah protocol blah blah bullshit"
I think i should patent bullshit, then the people who use bullshit onslashdot will pay me.
