Submission + - Wikipedia administrators use power to spite forum

mcovey writes: Wikipedia showed its ugly side during recent controversy over the deletion of the Wikipedia article about popular internet forum General Mayhem, supposedly due to "non-notability." This is the forum behind the notable Christopher Walken presidential "campaign." Selective deletion, ambiguous and made-up policies, and gross abuses of power in this manner seem to be taking place frequently, essentially at the whim of the administrators. One Wikipedia administrator in particular has been silencing those who spoke out against the deletion with an iron fist, all evidence of which is covered on Genmay. This misrepresentation of Wikipedia policies by administrators for their own fulfillment of personal vendettas undermines the credibility of the site as a fair, community-reviewed resource.

Some people have a great ambition: to build something that will last, at least until they've finished building it.
