My crappy mice that I use at work tend to last about two years, but I am sure I will have my Logic Tech Performance MX with Dark Field technology for a while (At least I better at the price I paid)
An anonymous reader writes "In an attempt to modernize Slashdot, Dice has removed everything that made Slashdot unique and worthwhile and has turned it into a generic blog site. User feedback has been unanimously negative, but this is to no avail, and users will have to head elsewhere for insightful and entertaining commentary on tech news."

...of how bad Slashdot has gotten since Dice took over!
This post is almost entirely inaccurate. From the article: "An international group of scientists has shown that a drug candidate designed by scientists from the Florida campus of The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) significantly increases exercise endurance in animal models..." So the article is actually stating that it will increase an individuals endurance in order to allow people who normally can not perform exercise, to exercise (i.e. someone with an injury or someone who is overweight.)
...but proceeded with a really long forced commercial as well. I am really starting to hate Dice's version of Slashdot!!!!!
My source is http://blog.epa.gov/blog/2009/09/where-does-my-electricity-come-from/ and as it says in the article there is no state that is even at the 50% level of it's electricity being provided by renewable sources. So, by that factor every state in the union has at least 51% or more of it's electricity provided by some sort of fossil fuel, whether it be natural gas, coal, oil, etc... Therefore, at the current status quo the situation will worsen, not get better as the number of electric cars increase unless we start increasing the number of renewable electricity sources.
...that people actually think that the electric cars of today are the answer to our fuel and pollution problems. I would love to know where these idiots think electricity comes from. Yes, there are clean electricity sources but for the most part electricity comes from burning fossil fuels just like your car, either coal, or oil. So, even though electric cars help in some small way right now later as the electric car population increases they will be just as harmful as our current vehicles. They may even be more harmful since they will be using electricity and that will take away from the electricity that we largely depend on for survival to heat, cool, and light our homes and businesses. So, to all the liberals out there that think electric cars are the answer...get off your idiot soap box!
Awww, but I don't want to be a hologram!
wrong answer! I don't want any more possibility that my gun isn't going to fire than there already is by shear uncertainty. I clean my gun after every trip to the range, I oil it regularly, and do everything I am supposed to do. Even with that much care there is still the possibility that it won't fire at some point, and throwing a battery into the mix is not doing to do anything but make that possibility increase.
Let's not forget it was one nutcase that decided that he wanted to take down the twin towers, and look what happened there. One nutcase ended up becoming an entire network of nutcases that eventually got the job done over a period of a decade or so!
Not in it's entirety! A car will not mow your lawn for you but a horse will
You mean like in the case of having an accident, the car is totaled, it is no longer worth what you owe, but you still have to pay the remainder of the payments?
I hope my sarcasm radar is just off today and you are not serious.
