In any event, it's really not something anybody should be concerned with. The Amish have the right to take advantage of the courts, and the right to choose not to use them. If their belief system says don't use the courts, well that's too bad but it's a burden they've placed on themselves.

I would hate to live in your world. More like I really hate being a minority in your world. Having to fight and scratch for every little thing just because my belief system is different than the majority.

And he is complaining about a day hike that just happen to go to the top of the world? He knew where he was going and what he was going to do. This is not a day hike. My understanding is it cost big money and lots of training and planning to just make the attempt. Just make a big donation to the government and I am sure he can play in the backyard again.

There are many differences:

  • Manned planes have a person who can actively steer them to minimize collateral damage if they're going down.
  • Manned planes are required by law to comply with maintenance schedules designed to ensure safety.
  • Manned planes are not (usually) controlled by a computer that can be vulnerable to software bugs.
  • Manned planes are not (usually) vulnerable to EMPs or random stray cosmic rays.
  • Manned planes are not made en masse by the lowest bidder.
  • Manned planes are inherently limited in number by the number of available pilots and the salary of those pilots.

Need I continue?

Please remember that Manned planes, at least the commercial manned planes, are brought to haul cattle and keep them quiet for the flight. Also it has been a long time since fly by cable. That means EMP does have effect on those computer controlling the planes.

Yes, you maybe near a power grid. But remember you have to plug in to that power grid. Most people I know do not park the car in the garage. So now you have to string a orange cable to the car in the wet rain. If you want a five seconds plug, then your orange cable has been laying in a puddle of water. There some fun. So how far is your 110 volt outlet to where you park your car? 20 feet for me.

Its called taking care of yourself, you eat candies? you get your ass on the exercise machine and brush your fucking teeth, hardly some high moral standard.

How?

Lucky, I guest because I do not brush my teeth as much as I should.

I other word it is not that simple about who gets cavities and who does not.
