And there are some Christians that recognise this as well. I am an atheist attending a Catholic University run by Benedictine monks . In my surprising experience, they place a very high value on science and reason. Of course they also value their faith, but I have never felt anything but welcome when speaking with them.

Of course one way or another you pay for everything but power should be lumped into the library, schools, and roads category. If without it people freeze to death then any worthwhile government should see that nobody gets a monthly bill for it. I don't feel sorry for these so called public utility companies.

Besides War of the Worlds scenarios, life is robust enough to beat foreigns. See smallpox and the new world, though it wasn't pretty, life still lived. Its just Darwinian is all. Get used to alien life and death, its a coming, probably jump out of your chest style.

I don't know if I agree or disagree. I look inside my init.d and see complicated yet thoroughly worked out logic. I see interaction coming from the other moving parts with conditional statements. I consider these startup applications even if they are really just scripts. Gotta love /bin/bash though.

EA Shutting Down Video Game Servers Prematurely 341 341

Spacezilla writes "EA is dropping the bomb on a number of their video game servers, shutting down the online fun for many of their Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 games. Not only is the inclusion of PS3 and Xbox 360 titles odd, the date the games were released is even more surprising. Yes, Madden 07 and 08 are included in the shutdown... but Madden 09 on all consoles as well?"

In 1997 I was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. Thanks to the GI Bill, I graduated university in 2002 with a political science degree. For a variety of circumstances, I have not had much luck getting paid with computers. I have an opportunity to further my education. If it were you and you wanted to get paid; would you study more IT, get a business degree, be an underwater welder, be dental tech, etc.?
