Journal Journal: First Impressions 4

I think I'll start chronicling events from the past. This event which took place a few years ago:

My roommate had just started going out with someone he had met in school, and whom I had not met. They had an appointment to go do something or other. They get back to the domicile after the event they attended. I'm watching TV in the living room when they arrive. I also happened to be sharpening a new axe. I sharpen things, it's kind of like a hobby.

Submission + - Evidence Found for Recent Water on Mars

Dr. Eggman writes: According to Images suggest water still flows in brief spurts on Mars. As seen in these photos a new gully deposit was noticed in the crater Terra Sirenum that formed sometime between when it was photographed in 2002 and again in 2005. From the article:

"These fresh deposits suggest that at some places and times on present-day Mars, liquid water is emerging from beneath the ground and briefly flowing down the slopes. This possibility raises questions about how the water would stay melted below ground, how widespread it might be, and whether there's a below-ground wet habitat conducive to life. Future missions may provide the answers,"
