This is personally amusing to me because I spent half of Sunday trying to track down reports of my Android Live Wallpaper app not working properly. I guess in hindsight, it's pretty cool. I mean, it's not often that you get to lament that a rogue satellite ruined your afternoon.

Oh, and in case you were wondering why I didn't take the opportunity to shamlessly plug my app.

It's a live wallpaper for Android phones that shows the nearest NWS radar imagery.

Seconded. As a self taught programmer, classic algorithms are always my weakest link when I do an interview. Unfortunately, it's also the most glaring, since they usually teach that kind of stuff early on in COMP SCI. I had an interview with Amazon a while back and in preparation bought the book "Programming Interviews Exposed". It's a pretty good resource for getting your hands dirty with all the algorithms that a general programmer should know.

Actually - it would be less amazing than you think. There's a good chance that if there had been life on Mars, it made it's way here hitchhiking on meteorites. The gravity trip from Mars to Earth is pretty easy and there have been a number of Martian meteorites discovered on Earth.

Uh, anyone that has a netbook that they use for absolutely nothing but web browsing? Which, if everyone else is as disappointed with their netbooks as I am, should be a lot of people. Basically, if you have a computer that you do nothing but web browsing on - Chrome OS is for you.
