+ - A new way of looking at eBooks->

robertmc writes "I've been working for awhile on a different way of rendering eBook pages (seeandbelieve.com) by using a digital halftone method that compresses well ("ReadAllOver"), to send "pictures of pages." I'm excited about the possibility of rendering any font (no font metrics or hinting) and any language (a text file is included for search). How about a wireless reading device with 8-1/2" x 11" facing screens that is able to display any previously-published magazine, newspaper, book, catalog, etc.?"
