I also noticed a trend where it seems to me that each new incarnation of the Dr is a bit younger than the previous. If they want to keep that consistency, they're going to have to pick someone really young for the next (and last if my count of 12 is correct) Doctor.
I'm waiting for the big reveal in the 50th anniversary special where it's revealed the Doctor is actually the lovechild of a Timelord and Mork from Ork.

I have just finished doing a music video for a song I have about the Mars rovers. I was very impressed with the image data that NASA makes available on the Mars Science Laboratory - RAW images from cameras as well as annotated images with explanations.

Well, my personal fave text adventure game on Linux was xorg.conf. Spent hours on it. Way ahead of its time it was also the only text game I can think of with dual monitor support. Or not, as they case may be.
