electoral college?

Politics
Someone wrote about the electoral college today. quote: [the college] "This actually *helps* keep California and New York from completely dominating, say, Wisconsin."

But what goes around comes around in my thinking:

That applied when money and politics were not in bed together. Today money and politcs are married at the hip. People have the darnst way of being ingenious. All you need is for all the rich, tax cheating folks to move to all the states with the smaller electoral counts. Then use their stores of cash to influence power (i.e. payouts, lobby, and kick backs), which is likely easy with folks not savvy and educated as the cities, and thus winning over the electorate of those states and eventually outweigh the larger states by sheer volume, original purpose of the electoral college.

Heck being rich in say BFing Idaho, you get the double benefit of lower taxes (land), lower cost of living (and cheap real estate), same services (thanks to technology), and less social drama living with poorer folks like us (i.e. social segregation). Definitely captialism based politics that's happening today as we speak. Talk about abuse of the idea.

Prisons now have WiFi

1. Now the state gov't of FL can revoke the votes of convicts faster.

2. Now all we need is for them to start a P2P service and then they can't be sued! Napster lives!
