Apple beats Microsoft in market cap for first time-> 0

pforce writes "For the first time ever, Microsoft was surpassed by Apple for market capitalization--$222B vs. $219B. This compared to 10 years ago, way back in 2000, when Microsoft was a $556B gorilla against Apple's relatively puny $15.6B. Apple's stock is worth over 10 times more now than it was just 10 years ago. Is this just market hysteria or a sign of things to come?"
