The exhibit runs through May 12th and showcases objects and systems that pair modern design with innovations in science and engineering in creative ways.

WHY is 10% of all meeting and presentation productivity wasted on hooking the laptop up to the damn projector or plasma screen?

I don't understand why it's still so technologically challenging to sync a laptop with an external display, reliably and expediently. Mac's get this right more than windows machines do, but even they're a little sluggish at it.

notyou2 writes: In all the craziness surrounding the recent announcement of the Google Lunar X-Prize, one fact seems to have become buried: Google Moon got a major update. We've lost the infamous cheese, but we've gained vastly better base imagery, new scientific charts, text search over thousands of named craters, and in-depth stories detailing every step of every Apollo landing. It even includes Street View-style panoramas! The New Moon was a collaboration between the pair that did Google Mars and some NASA Ames researchers.
