After months of suffering with the inadequacies of Webalizer, I finally got around to getting awstats up and running on my web host at www.random--precision.org, which is a political/religious message board that I admin. I'm using Yahoo hosting, which allows you to run Perl scripts from any directory, and that made it easy to get awstats running and configured. Awstats kicks the holy crap out of Webalizer.
I just got a spam honeypot up and running over at http://www.random--precision.org/ (Random Precision Message Board for politics and religion disucssion). Even though it's a small effort, I feel like I am now a part of the greater war against spam.
