Comment: Would always buy dell, now...never again (Score 1) 1
Okay, (Posting a second time - wasn't logged in).
I must say Dell AU is a far cry from Dell US and other areas I have experienced. 8 months ago I had an issue with a power supply. I called tech support. 2hours latter new one in hand night before I had to fly to a conference. saved me. Today, I call again as my dell 9400 has crashed (lines all over the screen, will not boot etc). I get to tech support, quote my code , and expect (I have 24/7, next day on site support and its a business support).... and I need this thing fixed tomorrow, that's why I buy the support... after 50 min on hold (I called with skype, so I have screen shots etc) I hand up. call again. "sorry we are only open business hours". So does that mean they sold me a product that doesn't exist? How can I rely on 24 hour support when I can't call anyone to get it. I can't chat (its only business hours) and emails will be answered sometime the next day.
So basically, the only thing that was great about a dell was the support, and now that's junk (in AU) why buy a dell ? its a shame, the old dell was great.
