Journal Journal: /. UI Design

You'd think that - despite their ignoring the multitude that truly hates the AJAXy Slashdot - the Slashcode maintainers could see their way clear to providing a link back to the index-page at the bottom of the fucking comments where you need it most instead of being forced to scroll all the way back to the top just so that you can go back to the article index in a sane (and updated) way.

Uh. Rant over.

Journal Journal: Moderation options 1

So... mod points again. Why do they always come when there's genuine work to be done, and not on those slow and lazy Sunday afternoons when the only significant choice of things to do is read /. or get pissed on single-malt?

/. truly needs one more moderation option: "-1 Incoherent". I'm not talking about bad spelling or those who are unable to distinguish between "than" and "then" or "there", "they're" and "their", though they're bad enough. I'm talking about bad thinking; Meandering babble devoid of real meaning and the inability to string a few words into a coherent sentence to communicate simple meaning.

Honestly, my Dog communicates better...
