Journal Journal: Best Slashdot Sig

I've seen some pretty creative signatures on posts recently. Some funny, some serious, and some interesting code snippets. One of my favorites has been:

"Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded"

Take a minute to comment with your favorite. I'd like to know some of the other sigs people like.

Journal Journal: Free Photo iPod

Never one to believe in free, I at least am willing to try. So here is a link to the page where you can get a free 60gb photo iPod. Of course it is not totally free. You have to sign up for one deal, and then get five people to do the same. It's a promotion by the Gratis Network. I have a few friends that this has worked out for, and now I'm trying to get one.

Currently I have one person signed up under me, and only need a few more. The deals that you have to choose from are stuff like blockbuster online, and trial memberships of other services. Stamps.com is one of the better deals. It's a free trial, plus they throw in $5 worth of postage. Any offers can be canceled, ie you don't have to sign away your life.

Check it out, and post a comment if you sign up. After I get mine, I'm going to post links to those who helped me out.

Journal Journal: BackToYourCube.info

I had an opportunity to get a free domain registration the other day, so I registered www.backtoyourcube.info. There is nothing there yet, and probably won't be for a while, but it's still pretty cool....that is if the page will even display. I've been having some problems with my current provider.

Journal Journal: Aeronautics in action

It's been almost 2 years now (ok, only 1.5 but who's counting) that I've been with LM Aero, and I'm still going strong. Though always looking for other employment, it's kinda hard to argue with a job where I get to do something I enjoy with good people, and in the process help create one of the most storied aircraft in US History. Long story short, I'm working on the F-16. A few weeks ago I had the distinguished honor of witnessing the first flight of the new Block 60. Good stuff.
