+ - FOSS NMS project leaders meet up

Submitted by mjhuot
mjhuot (525749) writes "In honor of the August news vacuum, I wanted to mention a historic meeting between the maintainers of two of the oldest open source management projects: Ethan Galstad of Nagios and Tarus Balog of OpenNMS. OpenNMS is having their annual developer's conference,Dev-Jam, in Minneapolis, which just happens to be where Ethan lives. The divides separating open source projects are often pointed out by its critics, so perhaps it is good to point out instances of solidarity."
