+ - More problems with computerized voting machines?

jmorris42 writes "The hits just keep on rolling. Here is yet one more reason why computerized voting machines are so tricky to get right.

The NYT has (registration required) has a story today about a new problem. Foreign dictators owning the companies building the machines.

Here is the money quote:
"The government should know who owns our voting machines; that is a national security concern," said Representative Carolyn B. Maloney, Democrat of New York, who asked the Bush administration in May to review the Sequoia takeover."
