New iMac reviewed->

Submitted by You can call me Al
You can call me Al writes "With every high-profile Apple hardware release comes the inevitable spate of reviews. In the case of the iMac, what appears to be the first review comes from Ars Technica. The reviewer had some concerns about the glossy display and keyboard going into it, but after awhile he got used to them. He also takes issue with Apple's choice of video cards, but was overall impressed with the new iMac. 'In terms of performance, the iMac acquits itself very well. For the most part, it outdid a MacBook Pro with an identical CPU and FSB in my testing, and it was more than competitive with a Mac Pro... If you've been holding on to your Power PC Mac and waiting for the right time to make the big switch to Intel, the appearance of the new iMac marks an excellent opportunity.'"
