The Internet

Submission + - Personas shows you how the Internet sees you->

jbloggs writes: "Personas is a component of the Metropath(ologies) exhibit, currently on display at the MIT Museum by the Sociable Media Group from the MIT Media Lab. It uses sophisticated natural language processing (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) and the Internet to create a data portrait of one's aggregated online identity. In short, Personas shows you how the Internet sees you."

it it clear that you have no idea what this device is actually doing, but since the article was so bad i'm not suprised. i, on the other hand, am at the media lab and have seen it in action. it makes the entire world around you a touch-sensitive device that can be digitally interacted and augmented with.

Many people write memos to tell you they have nothing to say.
