News for nerds writes "Via n4g, a poster at Beyond3D has confirmed that the graphics of Halo 3, a Microsoft Xbox 360 flagship game, is actually rendered in 1138x640 that is less than what can be qualified as HD resolution (1280x720 aka 720p) contrary to big Microsoft fanfare about Xbox 360 as a hi-def game console."
