Why offer that much throughput then complain when people actually make good use of it.
If you want people to buy business lines, make it competitive with your home accounts.

perhaps you didn't read the summary. He has a 300Mbps/65Mbps plan (300 megabit/65megabit = 37.5 megabyte/8 megabyte). He used 77 terabytes in a month. Most people only has 1 to 4 terabyte hard drives in their home computers. He used 77 terabytes. That would fill the entire hard drive of the average home computer about 50 times, and he did that in a month. Excessive much? Yes.

According to Math, 37.5 megabytes a second is 3.2 terabytes a day, so he had to be running full bandwidth for 24 days straight. Pretty sure all of our ISPs would be calling us if they noticed we were downloading at full speed for 24 days straight.

You must have been a really boring kid, we did a lot of things a **LOT** worse than this, and those of us who were caught got suspended for a couple of days. Of course we were white kids in a small town (and that house didn't burn down) so of course there was no public outcry.

things were different back in the day before kids started killing 20 kids at school and bringing actual bombs to school.

World has changed, it's not the 50s or 60s or 70s or 80s or 90s anymore. After Columbine and 9/11 shit got real. Can't just set off bombs in public places and expect police not to show an interest.

Like I said, I think the punishment fit the crime, we don't need every student setting bombs off at school and calling them "unauthorized science experiment". And I love how they said "she's a honor roll student", as if that means getting a good grade means the rules don't apply? And yes, setting off bombs is actually prohibited in the rules: "Section 7.05 of the school's conduct code, Lauderdale says, which mandates expulsion for any "student in possession of a bomb (or) explosive device... while at a school (or) a school-sponsored activity... unless the material or device is being used as part of a legitimate school-related activity or science project conducted under the supervision of an instructor."

Isn't everything considered "an unauthorized science experiment"?

"No officer I was not speeding, I was conducting an unauthorized science experiment on acceleration!"

"No your honor I did not stab a person, I was conducting an unauthorized science experiment on human anatomy!"

etc, etc. This teen could have very easily hurt herself and others, and if she did the school would have been sued for millions for allowing her to conduct "an unauthorized science experiment".

I'm glad she was expelled and I'm glad the police investigated. Don't think she should go to jail forever but this is serious, not a joke, and should have serious consequences. If you wanna do dumb things, do it at home, blow things up in your backyard, set the kitchen on fire, I don't care, just don't do it at school, the mall, etc.

Or should we send every teen who blows something up at school to space camp?

If anyone wants to see what one of these look like click here, it's easy to see why someone would think this is a bomb with the loud bang and good amount of smoke.

Other drone delivery systems are at least using them to deliver beer or newspapers or other things, and if a disaster struck I suppose they could be used to deliver water instead of beer https://www.google.com/search?q=drone+delivery

It's not bullshit, it's been well known since the 80s that consoles can do more than PCs because they are locked down boxes with the exact same specs rather than trying to test a game on dozens of CPUs and GPUs and just making it "good enough" to work on the average CPU and GPU. That's the problem with PCs, you can make a beautiful looking game that runs on only the latest $600 video card and looks like a slid show on $100 cards or you can make an average looking game that runs on $100 video cards but you can't have it both ways, and since they wanna sell as many copies of the game as possible which one do you think they're going to do?

If a dollar a week is too much than by all means don't buy ANY console. The two real advantages of the new Xbox One is the Kinect 2.0 was designed with the system so all games will be compatible and the fact that the Xbox One is NOT backwards compatible so all games are original Xbox One titles designed to work with the new Kinect. The new Kinect and requiring Xbox One games could be the game changer that can kill the Wii U's interactivity and PS4's graphic advantage. I don't own a xbox 360 but I might buy a xbox one depending on the titles. I'd love to see a fitness trainer game that could watch and adjust if the workout is too hard or easy for the user and respond accordingly in real-time with additional coaching or changing the program.
