No where in the article does it mention a team of doctors invented actually invented it, they did the work, they did the calculations, they did the experiments and research. Her contribution was little to none. Giving her credit is like the janitor at Google getting credit for the latest Google accomplishment.

Surprised none of the top comments mentioned that this seems like complete BS. Greatest minds from Samsung, Apple, and every electric car company can't figure this out, but a 18 year old did, and she didnt demonstrate it running something useful like a smartphone or tablet, she demonstrates it working on a single LED that runs for days on a battery anyway, and the article is horribly light on details. Roomba is right. They've been predicting robots taking over since the 70s. Remember all those robot articles in popular science back then? And what do we have now, 30+ years later? Roomba. Nothing has changed. Only place that has robots are factories and they're still millions of dollars. Robots might be great at moving items or going to an exact point and welding, but it will be many years before they get cheap and smart enough to think and react on their own to any situation. We can't even make SPAM filters that work perfectly and that's far simpler than building an iPhone. When most cars sold are self-driving then I will worry about robots taking over, but last I checked self driving cars aren't even for sale and google has been working on their's since 2005 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_driverless_car

Ya because you have to plug your iphone in constantly. I've disabled this and iTunes doesn't pop up when I plug in the iPhone. Only reason I ever plug in the phone is to take photos and videos off of it. Other than that there's no need to plug it in to the PC, everything backups up wirelessly or to the cloud automatically.

I find that hard to believe. I've owned one of these cheap chinese tablets, and the only thing it ran was a browser and even that was slow. Very few apps ran fast enough to be useable, and the only games that worked were 10+ years old like bejeweled. So while some people might buy these cheap tablets to "try out a tablet", it won't be long before they're throwing it across the room in frustration and wishing they just bought an ipad

They don't need to hire security for every school. We already have cops that sit behind desks all day, let's just move that desk to the school, like telecommuting. It can be a cop that already has children in school, so when he drops off his kid he's already at work. Win-win for everyone.
