The southern most state of my Australian homeland (Tasmania) is dominated politically by aboriginal people, who are as dark as USA's Ken-Doll & Barbie-Doll, complete with solid, heavily-boned, squared-off chins, blue-eyes and blonde hair. Australian citizens have direct advantages: (financial, employment, educational and political), if any one of your last 32 parental ancestors was a victim of rape by a white man. Astounding theories also prove why the Muslims, Spanish, Dutch, Germans, Portuguese, French and USA beat the primitive little darker-skinned creatures in Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. Because of the white skins allowed superior facial nonverbal communications, their superior weaponry, plus group coordination skills led to massive cross-breeding, almost wiping out these inferior genotypes. Personally, one of my grandmother was from Europe, so that why I am also a superior, genetic white man, even if I look to the standard observer like Charlie Chan.

Alienware Swaps SteamOS For Windows 173

Posted by Soulskill
from the missing-the-train dept.
An anonymous reader writes "Valve left many OEMs hanging when they delayed Steam machines until sometime next year to work out their controller issues. Many of these companies excitedly showed off new Steam machine hardware that they cannot ship, so Alienware has been the first to re-purpose its Debian-based Steam machine to be a Windows-based Steam machine bundled with an Xbox controller. While Windows 8.x has not been particularly well-received it does support a lot more games than Linux and when configured to boot straight into Steam Big Picture mode the influence of the underlying OS is visible only in the larger game library."

What is publicly released in not the full truth. There is also more to this than reactive work on crime. Not included is the commercial, exploration and pro-active ventures to commercial, government and non government agencies, internally & externally. Plus reward 'perks' for senior and retiring staff members. In Australia, a retired (elected politican) Minister responsible for our secret police was surprized to see one of his senior spies enjoying his forthcoming retirement, at extreme expense to the Australian government. Returning to Australia, he 'claims' to make his old government agency stop giving these expensive perks to senior & long term staff members. Personally, I do not see myself as an ally to Darth Vader. I have my personal ethics that belong to Planet Earth (b4, duuring & after my life), not to the monthly report of any agency. In my childhood I was very simply bribable. I'm not a child now.

You seem to not know what prison is. As an ex-army officer, then 'conscientious objector', I served 'six years hard labour' in Australia's prisons. Like a luxury hotel, with work leave, study leave, weekend home visits. Read other posts here. The military & para-military senior staffers have the 'PSYCHOLOGY TODAY' magazine personality of the right-wing archetype: politically correct 110%, deeply ingrained insecurity, fear off complexity, fear of wrong decisions, fear of risk-taking, and generally very childish xenophobia. In my recent disguised 'secret interview' with the Australian Secret Intelligence Organization (who have my complete academic, family & career records from birth to now ... they are badly trained (a very experienced, 50+ year old career spy interviewed me), lazy, and dumb. They live in an Anglo-Centic Christian ghetto, in Canberra, Australia, a few miles from me.

Spy camera gadgets are tiny, cheap, ... almost undetectable. Check eBay for normal users. Military & para-military of every nation have access to gadgetry (& mods) that we cannot imagine possible. Perhaps all public servants should be equipped with RFID sun-skin implants when viewing/ hearing/ speaking any official documents. They should also be forced to wear RFID-linked vision filters when viewing deliberately fuzzy government screens.

Why is AU so servile to first Britain, then USA? Many nations, corporations, individual etc use Linux derived systems to avoid penetration/ spying/ sabotage as already happens frequently every second. "Evil", unethical, criminal, .... activists very easy share the knowledge of cracking Microsoft systems. What is worse is that many (most) non-government agencies trust AU "experts". So the rest of AU will stay with being exploitable by the "baddies". CLEVER AU ... very well done (over). Retired (medical) IT Consultant, Australian Capital Territory

Good idea. Scamware appears, but no unsubscribe link. If you do unsubscibe, it validates for more scamware. Could you please be more explicit though, with an example? So I forward the unwanted scam onnto where, and how? All my emails are handled in real time by Gmail & Yahoo.

Being friendly with neighbors - each of you have access to each other;s property, to place a cam/ webcam/ dvr on their residence to watch yours. They can do the same. The electricity consumption is minimal, but they have battery backup anyway. Access to the unit is only needed to: 1) check that it works 2) replace the batteries every 2 years 3) if the worst happens (fire, theft, vandalism, etc) - then the DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER(S) have trapped it all. Eight neighbours = 8 setups. If in hotel room type of setup, wireless camera to a DVR is ok. Some camera are very small - a cross-head screw, plastic cigarette lighter, fountain pen. They can be motion and / or sound triggered. Ebay has many : "spy camera". Greg Zeng, Australian Capital Territory.
