David Gobaud writes "On Valentine's Day, Stanford "hackers" are taking part in Stanford Dance Marathon by participating in the Hack-A-Thon for Good modeled after Yahoo's University Hack Days. These projects include bug fixing and feature development for OpenMRS an open source electronic medical records used by Partners In Health, creating a web application and MMS gateway for Kiva, creating a Facebook application for FACE AIDS, creating an iPhone application, Facebook application, and other web development for The Extraordinaries, and developing a new website for Ellipse and setting up an online database to help them eliminate paper records."
