geekangel writes "Have you heard of indy developers facing 100 times price increases for AppEngine apps, when it comes out of preview? I'm one of them; my daily price will rise from 50 cents to $50. But only if I do nothing.

It turns out that this is probably avoidable, by optimising some settings and fixing some lousy code. In this article I dive deep into what I'm facing, and what the solutions probably are. It includes billing, graphs, stats, and code from a real production application."
