So we get a $500 voice activated remote for the tv. Cool.

Don't really want one.

On the other hand, for those gamers that detest the controller and only game on the PC... why on earth not install a keyboard option? Or are a few million more customers not worth it? I would think that even if the keyboard was proprietary they'd increase sales by a huge margin.

The most annoying thing on the planet is typing on a console/smart phone/tablet keyboard.

Until you need to get to the cloud and it's off line. I guess no one remembers (not long ago) when the google cloud died and folks who had no copy on their own machine lost it all. Cloud may be fine for a backup but when it's all you have it's a problem. Ask those who bought the latest simcity.

I have my own servers so that's where I back up to. And folks who "back up" and then delete the files on their own machine... aren't backing up. They're just making a copy. Backup is a copy in more than one location.

But again, until they come up with a keyboard option... I see no reason to upgrade just to (in my case) stream video. I can do that with the 360.

It's moving everything into the cloud? That worked out well for simcity. So I guess they force you into paying for live as well.

I have a 360 w/konect but only use it for streaming video. Hate playing with controllers.

Not to mention typing on one is a real blast. /sarcasm.

And STILL no keyboard control? It seems to me they could pull tons of users in if they just add keyboard control. With all the console haters out there just that one addition would instantly kill off the competition.

Yep. I use the CS6 web suite. But I don't use/need everything. PS, ILL and dreamweaver essentially. Upgrade... $375.
So if I want them individually... $60 a month. But the whole package for $50. That means I have access to a dozen or so other progs I'll never use. YAY!!!
Cloud? WTF for? Just throwing that in as a marketing tool.

Adobe has always been a company I loved to hate. That's turned to love to detest.

Will they get enough complaints to reverse it? I doubt it. This plan will likely increase their cash flow astronomically even if they lose half their box buying customers.

Switching to the GIMP? That's like going from a Ferrari to a soap box car.

Had a Mac. Detested it. The prob with windows is that it's getting more and more mac like every day. MS seems to be looking at mac sales and thinking that's the way to go. Not realizing that Jobs is dead. He was the driving for and marketing genius behind mac. Look at them now. While still a powerhouse they're beginning to stumble without Jobs.

If they do put the start button back I have to wonder what will be there. Just shut down / restart? Not what people are really missing. If they don't put all the features that were in the start button... well, they don't have a clue as to how bad that screw up was.

On the other hand, it will help with pain. If I take the whole bottle. With all the nausea and vomiting from an overdose I never notice the pain I took it for.
