Journal: I'm so excited 2

Journal by fustakrakich

There is an opportunity to see every single republican, AND democrat voted out of the House of Representatives. So, what... are you up to the challenge? Or, are ya chicken? And I'm going to hear the same old lame excuses one, more, time...with feeling?

I just watched a little sample of that show "Crossfire" the other day. Is that (and the FOX equivalent) really how you people get your information on who you vote for? Like, OMG! No wonder you all are nuts...

Journal: For Democracy, as every schoolboy knows, was born in an English cradle: 3

individual liberty, parliamentary institutions, the sovereign rights of the people, are ideas of British origin, and have been propagated from this island over the whole of Europe.

But as the prophet and his words are very often not honoured in his own country, those ideas have been embraced with much more fervour by other nations than by that in which they originated.

The Continent of Europe has taken the desire for liberty and equality much more seriously than their levelling but also level-headed inventors, and the fervent imagination of France has tried to put into practice all that was quite hidden to the more sober English eye. Every one nowadays knows the good and the evil consequences of the French Revolution, which swept over the whole of Europe, throwing it into a state of unrest, shattering thrones and empires, and everywhere undermining authority and traditional institutions.

While this was going on in Europe, the originator of the merry game was quietly sitting upon his island smiling broadly at the excitable foreigners across the Channel, fishing as much as he could out of the water he himself had so cleverly disturbed, and thus in every way reaping the benefit from the mighty fight for the apple of Eros which he himself had thrown amongst them.

Happy War Day everybody! Don't forget to reelect your congressman this fall... After all, what are we without war? We are out of business! But in today's world, social security is the evil.

A cast of thousands joined the gala event. When's the last time you've seen such bourgeois (man, that damn word really applies here) marketing, more flamboyant than an Apple float in a Pride parade? I sure hope they didn't leave any litter...

So, how do you suppose all those people got there? Bicycle? Rickshaw? Donkey cart?

Marsha Marsha Marsha!.. They're supposed to be the democrat's answer to Rand and Ron, Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice... or something..

So, they're making headlines by voting against the Syrian War (Has it officially started yet? I really don't know)... Of course it is bullshit because the thing was going to pass anyway without their votes. Now, had they been real schwing votes, how much you wanna bet their speeches (and votes) would be different? This is the same gimmick the republicans used on Obamacare... Their votes weren't needed and they still can collect the windfall, economic and political. They can continue to pretend to be the opposition party while scaring the feeble minded out of voting for somebody who "doesn't have a chance".

God had to create us to see what it created. We are its eyes and ears, and what do we put out?? The Sun, The Star, The National Inquirer (Which, I have to admit, might be more accurate than the Times). So, now you gotta think, "Oops!", and you run off and join the circus.

Natural laws have no pity.
