+ - Seamless Channel Bonding-> 2

Submitted by Anonymous Coward
An anonymous reader writes "Channel bonding over the Internet is a notoriously hard problem, with even the best tools in Linux just using round robin to combine identical connections. But that might be changing, as Connectify, the spook backed networking software company has announced new channel bonding software that claims to use bandwidth, latency and reliability metrics to perfectly bond any Internet connections together. Engadget has tried it and said their "test of the beta software on our end has worked seamlessly so far, requiring just a software installation and two or more internet connections (two ADSL lines in our case).""

Also, Bollywood-style musicals don't seem to move letterpress paper products the way they did when I was a kid.

Dubstep music also seems to have tapered off of late; perhaps another casualty of Adult Onset Short Attention Span Shadow Puppet Theater Disorder.

Fibre-channel remote booting off a hard drive in a data center you don't know about using Diamond Multimedia Power Line communications devices hidden in a desktop's actual Power Supply Unit still seems to be a fairly solid bet for technology that will stick around for a while.

While others are thinking of another useless system for an imaginary company that nobody would actually use, I'd rather hack up something the FL/OSS community actually needs. The problem is — how to figure out what could it be?"

A 12-year-old girl who was being assaulted by her mother's ex-boyfriend used some quick thinking by sending a message on her iPod to a friend's Facebook account for help. The friend was able to contact the girl's mother who then contacted the police. 42-year-old Raymond Ernest Cesmat was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree. He is being held at the Dakota County Jail on $175,000 bail.
