+ - SCO faces delisting from NASDAQ

Submitted by drachenfyre
drachenfyre (550754) writes "SCO has announced that they have received a letter of deficiency from NASDAQ as their stock price closed below $1 for 30 consecutive days. The letter was received on April 23rd and SCO waited 4 days before releasing it to the public, which is the maximum period allowed under NASDAQ rules. They'll be trading under a special symbol indicating the pending delisting (SCOXe). The clock is ticking."

+ - Vonage admits they have no workaround

Submitted by drachenfyre
drachenfyre (550754) writes "It looks like Vonage has no workaround for their recent patent infringements . This means if a permanent stay isn't granted it is likely that it will be the end of the line for Vonage. What will happen in millions of phone customers suddenly loose their service as Vonage goes under. Their own filing to the court stated "While Vonage has studied methods for designing around the patents, removal of the allegedly infringing technology, if even feasible, could take many months to fully study and implement."."
