dhermann writes: The Consumer Reports tech lab concluded that the signal strength dropped considerably when a hand touched the left side of the phone, where the antenna rests. This seems to be in direct conflict with Apple's earlier statement that the lower bars some users were seeing were caused by a faulty algorithm used to calculate how many bars were displayed.
