deopmix writes: New software developed by Dr. Ariel Shamir allows for resizing of images while maintaining the size of the important parts. It does this by detecting the least important lines of pixels and deleting them first. Presented at SIGGRAPH, this video shows Dr. Shamir explaining how the software works.
