Submitted by d'baba
d'baba (1134261) writes "I've got excellent karma (thank you very much) and, always before, I could turn off the adverts. Now, not only can't I turn them off I have them in the Header and Right Column and they are creeping up from the bottom of the page."

+ - RaspberryPi Ships Firast Root Filesystem->

Submitted by d'baba
d'baba (1134261) writes "The RaspberryPi folks are making available for download a debian squeeze root filesystem for the board. It's not the one they will ship (which is Fedora) but one they have apparently been using during development. Not particularly useful to those of us who have no boards but interesting nonetheless. To me it looks like they are shaking the infrastructure in anticipation for the launch."

+ - Capacity Limits on Wireless Broadband Frequencies

Submitted by d'baba
d'baba (1134261) writes "I'm trying to figure out (and failing horribly), what the theoretical carrying capacities of the several wireless broadband frequencies are? More to the point, in any given location how many bits per second can one wireless broadband access point provide? As a side question, how many average VoiP calls can be supported by perfect wireless in any location?"
