  • Where's Gale Sayers? Dick Butkus? Red Grange? There were Bears before 1980.
    • Even the 85 bears had better players than Mike McMahon and the fridge... Richard Dent, Mike Singletary, etc...
  • You could submit it as a poll in that case. I actually feel like asking some further questions about moderation, though this isn't the proper place for it and I don't know other channels within /. However, I also feel like my time and tolerance for /. moderation BS is running out. I only recently returned to /. after an 11-month hiatus because of shitty moderation, and I'm already on the verge of going away again. Okay, I talked myself into asking at least one question: Do you think your moderation should
    • I would love for people to see that I moderated them...especially the freaks/foes that I'm down modding regularly (mwahahahah!).

      • Well, I think we're in more philosophic agreement than disagreement (which is why I flagged you as a friend), but I think you're pretty seriously wrong on the self-sustaining abuses of moderation. A bit of context and an example...

        I actually work in the IBM food chain, mostly supporting one of their research labs. I handle quite a bit of technical stuff that I can't talk about on /., so most of my posts tend to be non-technical, and I'm generally writing in response to provocative ignorance. I think I write
