I'm a scientist who is really a glorified code monkey. I miss using computed gotos in FORTRAN66, SunView, Core graphics, and DomainOS.
I'm also a glorified hardware technician, a master of SCSI termination, former pro at wiring up RS232 cables, and an unregistered killer with a soldering iron.
Sysadmin, Mac weenie, UNIX guru, certified expert of the 029 drum card, reader of TCP/IP packet headers, network security nut, master of deciphering binary data, and a reformed BOFH.
