+ - Windows 7 update will target piracy

Submitted by catd77
catd77 (1743104) writes "To combat Windows 7 piracy Microsoft will release an update in the coming weeks. The update will be called "Windows Activation Technologies Update for Windows 7", and it will find known signs of "potentially dangerous activation exploits". But, apparently all your "important data" will be safe from prying eyes, and will be saved even if you have a pirated copy of Windows 7. A notification will appear to alert you of how you can fix it. So update wisely pirates."
