Not a big believer in docking stations, I see. I leave the big screen, the fancy keyboard, the network and printer connections on my desk when I leave. When I'm at lunch, or at a coffeehaus, I've got the built in keyboard and trackpad. When I'm on the bus or plane, or lounging on the sofa, clickity-click, Barba-trick, I've got a nice tablet for watching videos or playing puzzle games. All on one device...

At least in my mind. In my mind, it is also waterproof, sunlight readable, full color, and folds down to the size of a smartphone.

How do you determine holding time? If I buy 3 this morning, sell 2, buy another 5 at noon, sell 11, buy 4, sell 2, buy 3, what have I held, and how long have I held it? Is it first in, last out, or first in, first out? Do I get a tax refund for the time I held a negative quantity?

It's not a simple problem, and the solution is not going to be simple either.

This does not stop facial recognition but it does make it work less accurately. Major changes in beard style or glasses will not help a facial recognition systems accuracy.

Yes, they will. As weaknesses in facial recognition systems get discovered, they will get patched. Soon it won't matter if you grow or shave your facial hair, whether you dye or bleach your skin, or whatever.

And once news gets around of this incident, the same thing will start happening in Canada.

What makes you think it isn't already here? I've heard of things going the other way. If you don't grease the palm of the inspector, an arrowhead might fall out of his pocket, and "Oh, look! We must be on sacred ground. Looks like you'll have to stop digging until we get the permits re-examined and squared away."
