+ - Court rules taser can be used when threat present->

buttersnout (832768) writes "The U.S. 9th district court of appeals has ruled that police may only use Tasers when a perpetrator poses an immediate threat or be liable for any injury caused. Tasers may no longer be used to on people merely protesting or even passively resisting arrest. The unanimous decision may require police agencies throughout the U.S. to revise their policies on these less lethal weapons."
